Being sick still stinks.
Much to my chagrin, my doctor tells me that my immune system is still pretty wimpy even 19 months post head injury. Pre-injury, I could have beat this cold in a few days. Instead, we're on day 10 and still coughing despite my eligibility for frequent buyer points at my pharmacy. Grrrrr...
But I've made the most of my rest time by discovering Settlers of Catan online! MSN Games had a free trial through August 10 and I took full advantage!

I hope you're feeling better, Jen. Settlers of Catan online...wow. That could be a great way to waste lots and lots of time. I wish you hadn't mentioned that. Smallville is bad enough for me right now.
Slowly but surely, Ryan. Thanks. More importantly...do you play Catan?! There's about three different sets of people I play with, but I'm always looking for more players. I just learned how to play with two people, but Cities and Knights is my favorite. I'm on a TV fast right now (conveniently ending the day before kickoff Sunday), so I can avoid the Smallville temptation!
I have to confess.. I haven't played, just watched. But it looks like a blast. Strangely enough, I own the game and have never played it myself. I think I own 2 or 3 games like that, now that I think about it.
A TV fast? Just be sure you keep drinking lots of water.
